Peugeot HR1 concept

Alongside the new 508, Peugeot unveiled a B-segment SUV concept called the HR1 in Paris. The new car builds on the new design identity established by the SR1 concept, but also features elements of the diminutive BB1 concept revealed at the 2009 Frankfurt motor show. Audi TT Coupe 1.8 TFSI launches as entry-level TT

The new entry-level Audi TT Coupe 1.8 TFSI We wonder if Audi is starting to feel a bit of pain from Peugeot’s RCZ? If it is, that would explain the decision to introduce a new entry-level Audi TT starting at just £24,070 – the  Audi TT Coupe 1.8 TFSI. The TT Coupe now gets the option of the entry-level engine already found in the TT Roadster, which means that once again you can get a TT Coupe for less than the entry-level TT Roadster.

L’argus Student Competition 2009

French magazine L'argus de l'automobile has announced the winners of its seventh Student Competition Awards, themed ‘Automobile Design for Social Utility'. Open to students studying design within the European Union and Switzerland, the competition culminated at a recent awards ceremony at the Eiffel Tower. The first prize of €3000 and an internship at Renault's Technocentre in Guyancourt (near Paris) went to Damien Grossemy, Thibaut Dereymacker and Maxime Dimarco from the Institut Supérieur de Design in Valenciennes, France.
