SHIPPING I will gladly combine shipping if you buy more then one of my items. Wining bidder is responsible for all shipping and/or custom charges, you will be charged actual shipping costs. When I ship, I charge exact shipping costs (rounded up to the next dollar), but this does not cover other shipping expenses, i.e. packing, boxes. So a small / modest handling fee will apply to my larger items. If you have any questions, please feel free to e-mail me. If nothing has to be bought, there will be no handling charge. I ship USPS Priority Mail and UPS and will choose the cheaper of the two (unless you request a carrier, or the item is to large for USPS). This way the weight and size of the package is complete and I can give you an exact total. The first day of the Indian Auto Expo 2008 in Delhi, saw Ratan N Tata (yes, the fella who's leading the bid for Jaguar and Land Rover) reveal his much vaunted 'one lakh' car (that's 100,000 rupees or a measly £1300). Despite being the Chairman and CEO of one of the world's biggest corporations, Ratan Tata admits to being a nervous presenter, so much so, that the initial information was presented by his hologram! When he did appear, it was behind the wheel of one of three 'one lakh' cars being driven onto the stage. The 3000-strong audience of press and VIPs went beserk amid scenes of euphoria last witnessed at the Clinton comeback in New Hampshire.
GM posts $7.6 billion profit for 2011
Thu, 16 Feb 2012General Motors on Thursday posted a $7.6 billion profit for 2011, while recording its smallest quarterly profit of the year in the fourth quarter. Net income for the October-through-December period fell 7 percent from the year-earlier period to $472 million, as a $562 million loss in Europe--the steepest of the year there--weighed on the automaker's bottom line. North American earnings nearly doubled.
