Honda HR-V small SUV debut at Paris Motor Show

Thu, 11 Sep 2014

The Honda HR-V small SUV (pictured) debuts at Paris 2014 If the Honda HR-V name sounds familiar, that’s because Honda has already made an HR-V – a small supermini SUV – which arrived in 1999-  but disappeared a few years later before the world fell in love with small, funky SUVs like the Nissan Juke and MINI Countryman. So having been in the small SUV market ahead of the curve – and dropping out again before the market took off – Honda has decided it’s time to bag a share of the seemingly ever-growing small SUV market – a market worth getting on for 100,000 sales a year in the UK – which means only one thing – an all new Honda HR-V. Due to be revealed at the Paris Motor Show next month, Honda are billing the HR-V as a concept, but as far as we can see it’s pretty much production ready, and will arrive in Honda’s UK showrooms in summer 2015.

Amazing unique Rolls-Royce headed to auction

Fri, 25 Apr 2014

ROLLS-ROYCE fanatics should start warming up their cheque books, as news has emerged that the very first Corniche ever made is about to head to auction. Chassis number 001, built in 2000, is not just the first of its model, though. It was the first example of the very last model to be made in Crewe, at the firm's former facility and under independent ownership.

Amazing garage-find Jaguars to be auctioned

Fri, 18 Oct 2013

TWO REMARKABLE Jaguars that were found abandoned in separate garages are to be sold at auction. A 1961 E-Type, one of the earliest ever made and confirmed as chassis number 40, was discovered just a few weeks ago in a garage near Le Mans by Coys auction house, which will also complete the sale. The car hasn’t moved since it was left in the garage in 1974, although Coys claims the engine was last started five years ago and it still turns over freely.
