Very Good Used Ac England Amp Gauge Ammeter Lotus Seven 7 Dated '58 on 2040-parts.com
Dayton, Ohio, United States
You are purchasing a very good used AC Amp gauge for the Lotus Seven. This has domed glass (not a flat piece). This was originally for the Lotus Seven but will fit other British cars if you would like an amp gauge. It is the standard 2" gauge case like the Lucas, Smiths and Jaeger small gauges. The face is dark and the letters, numbers and needle are nice and white. Please look at the 2nd photo, the tip of the needle is burgandy colored. The face also reads 'discharge' and 'charge'. The chrome rim is very good and is the same profile as the Sunbeam Tiger, Alpine and Triumph TR3 and TR4 small gauges The case shows a touch of rust and some oxidation. The 4th and 5th photos show the part number, AC Made in England and the date code which we believe is 1958. The Historic Lotus Register states that the Lotus Seven used a 2" AC amp gauge between 1957-73. The white dot by charging 30 is camera fault and not on the face. A very presentable gauge. From a vintage British inventory, part number on the gauge case 7228166. Photos are the actual gauge. Please view our auctions and other Ebay Store items for more NOS, new and one of a kind British parts. Thanks! Due to new Postal regulations, if you live in Italy or Taiwan USPS will not allow us to ship 1st class mail International, you must select Priority International Shipping or Registered. Please contact us if you have any questions.
