You are purchasing a very good used Original Equipment intake manifold for the Austin Healey Sprite 1275 cc (1968-69) and MG Midget 1275 cc 1968 thru 74. This has been glass beaded clean. It is in very good used shape, no cracks, no chips, all the ears are good. The gasket surfaces are all good. The 4 studs to the carbs are intact and the threads are good. (photo 5 and 6) This has the firing order (1 3 4 2) cast on the side. (photo 7). Current retail for new manifold is 249.00. But Volvo have been working an an alternative for the last 3.5 years which can potentially do away with the battery and instead store power in body panels. Volvo has built an experimental S80 which has body panels made of carbon fibre and polymer resins and structural super capacitors.
