You are purchasing a very good used Original Equipment Veglia fuel gauge for the Jaguar XJ6 Series III 1979-87.

This has been tested and it works. The face is dark and the letters, numbers and needle are nice and white. The black painted rim is very good. The case shows no rust.

A presentable gauge that works. We are including an oil gauge with this listing, at no extra charge.(photo 3 and 4) The top part with the oil icon has slipped under the glass and because the black rim is rolled, we did not feel we could open it up and repair it without damaging the rim. Hope you can use it.

From a vintage British inventory, part number DAC2889 and on the gauge face 0930 333 9901.

Photos are the actual gauge.

Always happy to combine shipping.

Thanks!

Renault Alpine A110-50 at Monaco? Possibly, but surely this isn’t it.

Tue, 22 May 2012

Is this a new Renault Alpine (left), or a Photoshopped Renault DeZir (right)? The rumour mill says Renault will revive Alpine with a tribute to the A110 – the Alpine A110-50. But the photo doing the rounds surely isn’t it.

The SEMA tuning and modified car show held in that centre of American excess, Las Vegas, is a melting pot for all things automotive. From trucks and busses to family saloons and hatchbacks, aftermarket tuning companies go to work making the wackiest modified versions of every type of vehicle around, showing off their wares at SEMA. Not even supercars are off limits.

Ford Mustang Shelby GT500 certified at 662 hp?

Thu, 26 Apr 2012

When the Ferrari Enzo burst out of the Italian sunrise 10 years ago, its Tipo F140 12-cylinder boasted a spleen-rending 651 hp. Oh, the difference a decade makes. This year, you can pop down to your local Ford dealership, lay down cash roughly equivalent to what would buy you an execrable Lincoln MKS and roll out in a machine with 662 ponies bucking under the hood.
