Vhf Marine Boat 3 Foot Antenna Scout Ks23a. Ss Whip. 16ft Cable. Fits Any Mount on 2040-parts.com
Miami, Florida, United States
The SCOUT KS23A uses standard 1’/14 threading and will fit any
marine mount. Total Length
is (39 inch) (3ft 3 inch), (0.9 m). Not all spring stainless steel whip
antennas are the same. Some may bend and never straighten out, others may rust
in the marine environment. Scout has rigorously tested all available materials
and selected only the best. Our SS whips will return to form and will not rust
thanks to the high quality spring stainless steel and electro polishing
process. The reception obtained with this 3 dB antenna is
outstanding due in part to the included 16.4ft (5m) braided tinned copper robust
shielding used in our own manufactured RG58 cable. There is no notable difference
in reception between this SS whip and the fiberglass antenna of similar size (
SCOUT KS21). The choice is simply aesthetics. Low quality VHF antennas use the
cable to tune the antenna and can not be trimmed, Scout antennas do not. You
are able to cut the cable to your desired length before attaching the PL259/RG58
male connector. Get the most out of your VHF radio with this antenna, your
maritime communications and safety depend on it. Scout has been hand making the
best marine antennas since 1982 in a second generation family owned facility in

TWO Koenigsegg One:1 on video at Goodwood
Fri, 27 Jun 2014Both Koenigsegg One:1s on video at Goodwood As we’ve already reported, the Koenigsegg One:1 is debuting at the Goodwood Festival of Speed this weekend, but rather than a single One:1, Koenigsegg have taken the only two One:1s in existence – yes, it’s two for the price of one at Goodwood. One car – the black one in the photo above – is a new One:1 heading for a customer, but the second (the silver can in the photo and video) is Koenigsegg’s development car, so that’s up for a bit of action on the hillclimb this weekend. But ahead of its public appearance, Goodwood managed to get some time with the One:1s and grab track time behind the wheel.
