The SCOUT KM22BS is the ultimate Marine VHF antenna for all
boats. Length is 62
inch, (5ft 2 inch), (1.5 m). The included Lift and lay mount is a great design to
quickly change the direction of the antenna from up right to lay backwards
effortlessly by pulling the antenna up and back. Unlike any
other, Scout uses a unique pressure injected foam technology that inhibits
condensation to corrode the core. We use quality paint and then hand paint it again
with a high gloss UV inhibitor to keep the antenna looking new for many years
in the ocean spray outdoor environment. The reception obtained with this 3 dB
antenna is outstanding due in part to the included 16.4ft (5m) industry leading
high quality tinned copper tightly braided shielding used in our own
manufactured RG58 cable. Low quality VHF antennas use the cable to tune the
antenna and can not be trimmed, Scout antennas do not. This means you are able
to cut the cable to your desired length before attaching the RG58 male

Wed, 22 Apr 2009A life-sized model of Carlos Arturo Torres Tovar's RD concept, for which the 26 year old Columbian designer won the 5th Peugeot Design competition, is on display at the Peugeot stand in Shanghai. The 'RD' concept was chosen via an online internet poll and a competition jury headed by Peugeot's Managing Director, Jean Philippe Collin in September last year. The theme for the 2008 competition was 'Imagine the Peugeot in the worldwide megapolis of tomorrow'.
