Vhf Marine Boat 8 Foot Antenna Scout Ks42 Black. Foam Injected. Ss Ferrule Italy on 2040-parts.com
Miami, Florida, United States
The SCOUT KS42 BLACK is the ultimate marine boat VHF antenna
in color Black with a rubber tip and a stainless steel ferrule base. It uses
standard threading to fit universally to any mount. Length is 8 ft (95in).
Unlike any other, Scout uses a unique pressure injected foam technology that
inhibits condensation and corrosion to protect the perfectly tuned antenna’s
core. Painted with automobile quality paint and finished with a clear glossy UV
protection coat to keep the antenna looking new for many years in the ocean
spray outdoor environment. The reception obtained with this antenna is
outstanding due in part to the 16.4ft (5m) robust tinned copper braid shielding
in the Scout RG58 cable. This reduces electrical interferences. Low quality VHF
antennas use the cable to tune the antenna and can not be trimmed. With Scout
antennas, you can cut the cable to your desired length before attaching the
PL259/RG58 male connector. Get the most out of your VHF radio with this
antenna, your maritime communications and safety depend on it. Scout has been
hand making the best marine antennas since 1982 in a second generation family
owned facility in Related items: This antenna comes in white, blue and black. It fits any marine mount but we recommend the strong fixed SS SCOUT PA40. Other good options are the PA33 4way brass or PA30 4way SS mounts. PA5 deck seal to waterproof the cable access hole in your console or deck. McLaren MP4-12C arrives in USA (video)
Fri, 17 Feb 2012The MP4-12C hits the US The McLaren MP4-12C has finally hit the USA, and to celebrate McLaren has put together a video showing its arrival in America. Being a supercar lover in the USA can have its drawbacks, particularly if you have a penchant for supercars from smaller car makers, because the US can be rather tetchy about letting a handful of supercars on American roads, just in case they destroy the fabric of American society. McLaren had that problem with their last car – the iconic McLaren F1 – and it took years for the legislative mess to be sorted to let ultra rich Americans indulge in a bit of McLaren love (mind you, it also lined McLaren’s pockets as they charged and arm and a leg for software to make US F1s legal).
