VHF marine boat 8 foot antenna SCOUT KS42. White. SS Furrul. Foam injected, US $90.00, image 1
Condition:New

The SCOUT KS42 is the ultimate marine boat VHF antenna in white with a blue rubber tip and a stainless steel ferrule base. It uses standard threading to fit universally to any mount. Length is 8ft (95in). Unlike any other, Scout uses a unique pressure injected foam technology that inhibits condensation and corrosion to protect the perfectly tuned antenna’s core. Painted with automobile quality paint and finished with a clear glossy UV protection coat to keep the antenna looking new for many years in the ocean spray outdoor environment. The reception obtained with this antenna is outstanding due in part to the 16.4ft (5m) robust tinned copper braid shielding in the Scout RG58 cable. This reduces electrical interferences. Low quality VHF antennas use the cable to tune the antenna and can not be trimmed. With Scout antennas, you can cut the cable to your desired length before attaching the PL259/RG58 male connector. Do this job once, do it right. Get the most out of your VHF radio with this antenna, your maritime communications and safety depend on it. Scout has been hand making the best marine antennas since 1982 in a second generation family owned facility in Modena, Italy not far from where Ferrari, Maserati, and Lamborghinis are built. Miami Boat Gear is the US distributor. Ships out of Miami, FL in 2 days or less so you can expect to receive your products quickly. Installation instructions are included. Volvo C70 Inscription to debut at L.A. Motor Show

Tue, 08 Nov 2011

Volvo C70 Inscription We know that the Volvo C70 – Volvo’s four-seat, tin-top convertible – is not long for this world, so perhaps the news that there’s to be a limited edition C70 – the C70 Inscription – bowing in at the LA Motor Show is the C70′s swansong. Volvo are keen to point out that the C70 was the world’s first four seat convertible with a three piece folding metal roof as standard, which made the C70 a proper all year round convertible; open-topped motoring when the weather permits, and all the joys of a coupe when the skies darken. The C70 Inscription is to be limited to just 2,000 cars worldwide, and you can grab one of those coming to the UK from £33,855 for the D3 SE Inscription.
