Honda's future tech aims to mitigate pedestrian collisions

Honda showed off some of its smart future technology on Aug. 28 in Detroit. The company is hoping to reduce accidents between motorcycles and cars, and pedestrians and cars.

Announced in Detroit at Fiat-Chrysler HQ, Alfa Romeo chief technology officer Harald Wester revealed the mantra for the brand includes pushing volumes up from 74,000 sales in 2013, to around 400,000 by 2018. But as it’s now October, and the titivated Soul is only just arriving in the UK, we really ought to rename the latest Kia Soul the 2012 Facelift. But whatever year we append to the facelifted Soul, it’s still good to see Kia’s funky little Marmite car get some decent tweaks to move it forward.
