Specifications

Our customer's know that more often than not the most time consuming aspect of fabricating a turbo manifold is making the merge collector! Vibrant Performance Turbo Merge Collectors make fabricating a turbo manifold much easier and far more cost effective. Each collector is made from 304 Stainless Steel Schedule 10 pipe for strength and durability. In addition, each pipe is precision cut in order to create a proper merge point for optimum scavenging of exhaust gases. These collectors are only tack welded so that fabricators can easily make necessary angle adjustments before fully welding the manifold.

Fiat set to grab 51 per cent of Chrysler

Sun, 17 Apr 2011

Sergio Marchionne wants majority at Chrysler What a difference a couple of years makes. On May Day in 2009 we reported that Chrysler had been put in to Chapter 11 Bankruptcy and the US Government was stepping in to ease the pain with $7.5 billion (admittedly at somewhat less than mates-rates) and that the management were ‘leaving the building’. Step forward Fiat to take up a 20% stake in Chrysler and Fiat boss, Sergio Marchionne, who planned to lead Chrysler away from the dark side and in to the light, with the promise of smaller and more efficient platforms and engines.

Google reveals its first self-driving car prototype (video)

Wed, 28 May 2014

Google’s first self-driving car prototype (pictured) Google might not be the first company that springs to mind as a car maker, but Tesla has already proved that Silicon Valley can produce a car that buyers want and Google are intent on following a similar route. But where Tesla’s USP is its long-range electric capabilities – and a desire to build cars for the market – Google’s goal is more technology orientated and is all about developing self-driving car technology that works in the real world. For the last few years, Google has been experimenting with existing cars kitted out with self-driving gubbins, but now they’ve taken the next step and built their own self-driving prototype.
