Vintage 125 cc Outboard Boat Motor Hood  ~  Maker Unknown

I recently rediscovered this cool piece at an Estate Sale, thought it was interesting, and purchased it. I'm not 100% certain what it is, but I think it is a vintage outboard motor hood. If someone can enlighten me further, I will update this listing. The piece is unmarked with the exception of "125 cc" on the top.

It measures approximately 10-3/4" long x 7-1/2" wide(at the widest) x 6" tall (at its tallest). The top is colored ruby red, surrounded by gold pinstriping. The middle is white, and the bottom is a minty green color.

You will receive the item in the photos. Please review all photos for the best representation of the condition. Please do not hesitate to ask questions.

Range Rover Sport claims desert crossing record

Thu, 07 Nov 2013

The last couple months have seen a number of cross-country record attempts, but here's one we didn't see coming, and frankly couldn't imagine taking place. But Land Rover claims to have broken the record for crossing Saudi Arabia's 'Empty Quarter,' starting at Wadi Adda Wasir in Saudi Arabia, and traveling east across the desert to the United Arab Emirates border. The 'Empty Quarter' is known to be one of the harshest and most challenging environments on the planet, and is actually the largest sand desert in the world and the second largest desert overall after the Sahara.
