Condition:Used

We recently purchased the contents of a barn from a life long collector of vintage car parts.  Check out our other auctions and "The Old Car Parts Store" for similar items that have been in storage for the past 40+ years.

Here is an ORIGINAL KLAXET 6 VOLT HORN DATED 1915 WITH SERIAL NO. 98156, made by Lovell - McConnell Mfg. Co. Newark, NJ.  It is in fair to good used condition.  There are some dings and dents here and there with the worst being on the end of the housing (see pictures).  There are no splits or cracks and most of the dents could be worked out.  We did bench test this unit and it makes constant noise like a motor is spinning but it does not produce a horn blowing sound.  Since we know nothing about repairing old horns we are listing this item as is for parts or to restore.  Please check out the pictures and ask questions before bidding.  Professional packaging guaranteed (see our feedback).  Bid with confidence and good luck.

The Vauxhall Corsa Black & White We know that Limited Edition cars shift metal in quiet times. What other reason could there be for manufacturers seemingly giving away options on a Limited Edition car? So if you want the options that are being thrown in the deal – and would have ordered them up if you specced a standard car – then it’s a good deal.

Subaru’s WRC Impreza rally car (2008): first pictures

Wed, 21 May 2008

By Nick Gibbs First Official Pictures 21 May 2008 09:37 Subaru has surprised the rally world by announcing it will launch its new WRC Impreza at next week’s Acropolis Rally in Greece, two events earlier than expected. The Prodrive-developed five-door WRC car, which is based on Subaru’s hatchback Impreza, uses the same 2.0-litre turbo engine that powered the old rally car, but does away with the traditional yellow lettering in favour of Subaru’s silver and white corporate logo. Hardcore fans panic not: the blue paintwork and iconic gold wheels stay.
