Up for bid is a vintage head lamp / head light lens by Depress Beam.

It measures  10 15/32" X 9 19/32.

Stamped on the edge is: PART NO. 12161  X 8490.

Stamped at the top of the lens is: TOP EXPORT.

Stamped at the bottom of the lens is: DEPRESS BEAM HEADLAMP   C.M. HALL LAMP CO.  DETROIT, MICH.

Application:  Based on my catalog this should fit 1928-1931 Packard Export.  Please do your own research.

Condition:  This is in  good NOS condition for the age. It has never been used. The glass is nice and clean. The only flaws that I see are that the middle stripe on the glass is just slightly duller than the upper and lower portions of the lens. Also, I see one small chip on the back side outer edge, but you wouldn't see this when installed. Very nice!

Please take a look at the pictures provided. If you have any questions please feel free to ask. If you need more pictures, just let us know. Thanks for looking and good luck bidding!

NASCAR: Rule changes to be clarified

Mon, 24 Jan 2011

The 29th annual NASCAR Sprint Cup Series Media Tour opens on Monday in the Charlotte, N.C., area. It's a four-day smorgasbord of announcements, team-shop tours, optimistic predictions and the unveiling of new race-car paint schemes, team members and sponsorships. More than 150 writers, broadcasters and photographers will get a steady diet of claims such as “we're excited,” “we've been working harder than ever,” “we feel we've got everything in place” and “we can't wait to get started.” The tour will visit almost every team that plans to run the full series schedule in 2011, teams such as Earnhardt-Ganassi, Stewart-Haas, Penske, Michael Waltrip, Richard Childress, Kevin Buckler's TRG, Team Red Bull, Furniture Row, Richard Petty, Hendrick, Roush-Fenway and Joe Gibbs.

-- Remember the 1986 Pontiac Grand Prix 2+2? Yes, the one that you can't find anywhere now outside of those amazingly outdated posters (where do they find them?) they have on the walls of your local oil change place, right next to a poster of a GMC Syclone and a first-generation Dodge Viper? The one with the plastic nosecone that inevitably gets warped?

Qoros GQ3 becomes Qoros 3: Geneva Motor Show 2013

Fri, 08 Mar 2013

The Qoros 3 – formerly the Qoros GQ3 – has been revealed at the 2013 Geneva Motor Show alongside concept Cross Hybrid and Estates from Qoros. Not because GQ Magazine objected, but because Audi did. It seems the man at the four rings took umbrage at a Qoros model name with ‘Q3′ in it, so it’s now the Qoros 3 or, specifically, the Qoros 3 Sedan.
