We recently purchased the contents of a barn from a life long collector of vintage car parts.  Check out our other auctions and "The Old Car Parts Store" for similar items that have been in storage for the past 40+ years.

Here is a VINTAGE PACKARD DOME LIGHT CHROME BEZEL AND GLASS LENS.  I believe this is from a 1938 but may fit 39 & 40 as well.  Please check your specific application and ask questions before bidding.  Both the bezel and lens are in excellent used condition.  There is only a trace of micro pitting in a couple of areas but this is extremely tiny and minimal in quantity (I stress very minor).  I am not sure how the bezel attaches (if there are supposed to be tabs on the underside)?  The glass lens is in excellent condition with no flaws to speak of.  In my opinion both pieces should easily pass for show quality.  Professional packaging guaranteed (see our feedback).  Bid with confidence and good luck.

Record breaking Bluebird reunited with nose

WORLD LAND SPEED RECORD holder Sir Malcolm Campbell’s Bluebird CN7 car has been reunited with its original nose. The car’s original nose was damaged and then kept in Coventry since 1960, but it has now been brought back to the car that lives at the National Motor Museum at Beaulieu, Hampshire. Damaged during a World Land Speed Record attempt on the Bonneville Salt Flats in Utah, USA, the nose of the car was sent back to Coventry for repairs and an updated design to help make the car more stable at very high speeds.

2013 Porsche Panamera facelift & new Panamera S E-Hybrid revealed UPDATED + video

The 2013 / 2014 facelift for the Porsche Panamera has been revealed, together with a new Panamera S E-Hybrid with 410bhp. Update: We published this story before Porsche officially revealed details, but we covered most of the news on the Panamera facelift accurately. As well as the new E-Hybrid (for which Porsche are actually claiming 91mpg), there will also be a new long wheelbase Panamera ‘Executive’ model with 15cm extra in the wheelbase.

Corvette Stingray-based Callaway AeroWagon gets the green light

We first saw renderings of the Callaway AeroWagon, an angular shooting brake based off the 2014 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray, back in March. Back then, Callaway said it would produce the customized C7 if demand was sufficient. Apparently, the Connecticut-based tuner decided that demand was, indeed, sufficient.
