Vintage 1938 Pierce Arrow Eight A.E.A. Tune-Up System Chart

This sale is for a vintage tune-up chart for a 1938 Pierce Arrow Eight, Form No. PI-23, issued by the American Electric Association.  The chart is printed on card stock, and is about 8.5" x 11" in size.  Information on engine settings, as well as original OEM part numbers, are included on the chart.  All printing is clear and legible.  This item is being sold "as is".

The condition of the chart is very good plus, with only very slight rounding of the corners and minimal wear on the edges.  There is some dirt/grease on the card, probably from handling with dirty hands.

These items are from a gentleman who obtained most of them for his collection around 2000, many through eBay purchases.  He has since retired, and is selling off items to help financially.

I am not an expert, and the above is the best I can do on explaining the condition.

Condition:

The item is in very good condition.  See pictures and above for additional details.

Payment:
We accept payment through PayPal.  Payment is expected within 3 days of the auction's close.

Shipping:
This will be shipped using USPS.  The package will be dropped off to the Post Office within 1 business days of your cleared payment.

Range Rover Evoque Prototype Pack Playing

Tue, 13 Jul 2010

The Range Rover Evoque Prototypes We’re not huge fans of the red-top alliteration in headlines. And I suppose the headline is a curate’s egg alliteration – alliterative in parts. But we have to play when there’s not a lot of meat on the bones of a story.

Official: Renault & Caterham to build Alpine sports cars

Mon, 05 Nov 2012

Renault has confirmed it is to partner with Caterham to build a range of Alpine sports cars in Dieppe from 2015. The partnership between Renault and Caterham is a logical extension of their F1 partnership but now, with the joint venture to produce their own sports cars, goes much deeper than the almost badge-engineering Williams Renaults. A new company - Société des Automobiles Alpine Caterham – will be jointly owned by Caterham and Renault and will develop models in small and large volumes to be marketed as both Renault Alpine and Caterham, and will be built in Renault’s Dieppe factory that currently churns out Renaultsport models for the road and track, and is the historical home of Alpine.

McLaren mysteries: Some things you might not know about the P1 and its maker

Fri, 03 May 2013

The McLaren P1 is one of the most spectacular supercars in the world, and it's been an object of fixation for enthusiasts since it debuted as a concept last fall in Paris. The basics are well known: a 903-hp hybrid powertrain, carbon-fiber for almost everything, and taut, curvaceous styling that introduces McLaren to a fresh generation. The P1 grew out of a somewhat hokey mission statement that McLaren produced back in 2009.
