Condition:Used Brand:Oldsmobile

This is a vintage visor mirror for Oldsmobiles.  They would be from the post WW2 era, and sold as dealer factory accessories.  It is in very good shape, with no deterioration of the letters.  The reflection is clear and not hazy.  Some age spotting is present.  There is some cracking of the paint on the back, with a small ding on the left side (visible in the photos).  The mirror measures 8 inches by 4 inches.

I also have a Pontiac Visor mirror listed right now, of the same vintage.

Mercedes A-class at 2012 Geneva motor show

Mon, 05 Mar 2012

Mercedes whisked the covers off the new A-class on the eve of the 2012 Geneva motor show. As predicted, it's a lower, sleeker, more Golf-like alternative to the Golf, sitting 18cm closer to thetarmac. These first official pictures of the new 2012 Mercedes A-class prove the 'tallboy' look is over for good and the production car closely apes the look of the Concept A-class.

Mitusbishi Outlander GT – New York update

Fri, 10 Apr 2009

The Mitsubishi Outlander GT Concept will go in to production - expect it in the UK in January 2010 Tagged as a Concept Car when Mitsubishi revealed the first information last week, it has now been confirmed that the Outlander GT will go in to production. It will lose a few of the Concept-Cutie bits, such as the ventilated Brembos and the Oz wheels, but apart from that it will be produced pretty much unchanged. I wasn’t too sure about the Lancer nose when it first came in (although it has grown on me) but it does suit the Outlander GT.

Fri, 04 Feb 2011

2011 / 2012 Volkswagen Tiguan Leak It seems clear that Volkswagen are intending giving their compact softroader – the VW Tiguan – a bit of a nip and tuck for the 2012 model year. A little surprise they were planning for next month’s Geneva motor show. But someone at VW dropped a bit of a clanger and posted the photo you see above on VW’s German web site.
