This was saved by my dad from my grandfather's 1940's vehicle.  Not marked in anyway to identify what vehicle it came from, but he was a mechanic and worked for Miller Buick and that's all the cars we had when I was growing up.  Now he did race a Hudson, but in any event it has 2 large clips (slip on clips) for thick visors.  It's approx.: 9 3/4"L x 3 7/8"H  Please see pics as there are smudges, scratches & wear plus debris left from a round decal? on the right side.  But overall for it's age it's in remarkable shape!

UPDATED: Jaguar Land Rover has submitted two trademark applications to the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office, a potential clue to the luxury brand's 2015 product plans. Reports from Edmunds.com and others state that the "XQ" and "Q-Type" names could be used on an all-wheel-drive crossover and new sub-$40,000 sedan for 2015.

Cheap mods: Adventures In Aspect Ratios

Fri, 16 May 2014

Seven years ago, I bought a rough-looking-but-good-running 1992 Honda Civic DX hatchback, for use as a gas-sipping alternative to my daily-driver P71 Crown Victoria. These days, it's the car I drive when it snows in Denver, and it's a reliable all-around beater. The EG Civic (as the 1992-95 Civic hatchback was designated by the factory) has become a much-sought-after classic in recent years, sort of the '55 Chevy of the early 21st century, and there's such a vast array of factory and aftermarket performance hardware available that I haven't been able to resist the idea of doing some power and suspension upgrades.

Toyota Hydrogen Fuel Cell on sale by 2015 at €100k

Tue, 08 Nov 2011

The 2003 Toyota Fine S Hydrogen FCEV Toyota has done a great job of turning the car buying public on to alternative powertrains with it Hybrid setup in the Prius, and now it plans to go the same route with a hydrogen-powered production Toyota. Despite Toyota’s headline commitment to hybrid cars, it has been beavering away for a long time with fuel cell technology for its cars. The photo at the top is of the 2003 Toyota Fine-S Concept which was developed to test the fledgeling hydrogen fuel cell setup, and Toyota were running fuel cell cars in Japan and California at this time too, although not, as far as we know, the Fine S.
