Audi reveals crossover concept for Beijing show (2014) first pictures

By Ollie Kew First Official Pictures 08 April 2014 12:00 Audi will show this crossover concept car at the Beijing motor show later in April 2014. According to these first pictures, it’s essentially a four-door version of the Allroad Shooting Brake concept from Audi’s Detroit motor show stand, mixing TT style with Q5 attitude. Audi’s only released these design sketches so far, and not let on any powertrain details.

SAIC has released details and images of the production version of its new Roewe 950, which will make its world debut at this month's Beijing International Motor Show. The Roewe 950 will be the flagship product of SAIC's range. The new sedan is the creation of both SAIC Design and Pan Asia Automotive Technology Center (PATAC) and is a substantial reworking of the Buick LaCrosse.

GM to build Cadillacs outside the U.S.

General Motors CEO Dan Akerson said Tuesday that the company plans to begin building Cadillacs outside the United States by the end of 2012 as part of its plan to make GM's premium brand a true global nameplate. Akerson said overseas Cadillac production would reduce the risk of foreign-currency fluctuations and allow GM to better manage its supply chain. Although Cadillac long has been sold in China and other international markets, it's produced only in North America.
