We recently purchased the contents of a barn from a life long collector of vintage car parts.  Check out our other auctions and "The Old Car Parts Store" for similar items that have been in storage for the past 40+ years.

Here is a pair of VINTAGE 1940 FORD OUTSIDE DOOR HANDLES.  They are in good to good+ used condition.  One handle has a few very tiny dings (I stress very tiny) and both have traces of light surface scratches here and there (also very minor).  One has the spring in tact in the area between the escutcheon and mounting shaft and the other does not.  The wrap around stainless has tight seams on the backside with no cracks or splitting (very nice).  Overall, a nice original pair that I rate as better than most drivers.  Please check out the pictures and ask questions before bidding.  Professional packaging guaranteed (see our feedback).  Bid with confidence and good luck.

Mon, 13 Jan 2014

Today at the Detroit Auto Show Mini debuted the new 2014 John Cooper Works Concept. The JCW (as the cool people call it) is the performance version of the Mini, and the debut of the concept included a rock band and impressive amount of smoke courtesy of a fog machine. The JCW concept was decked out in traditional John Cooper Works style, and that meant an exclusive color scheme with red color accents over Bright Highways Grey paint, and 18-inch light alloy wheels.

Concept Car of the Week: Lincoln Sentinel (1996)

Fri, 27 Dec 2013

After a decade of the rounded forms of bio-design, car manufacturers worldwide wondered what the next big trend would be. Ford's answer appeared in 1995 with the breathtaking GT90 that inaugurated the experimental 'Edge Design' era, defined by its use of precise edges, tight lines and sharp graphics. The following year, Lincoln unveiled an evolution of the same theme, this time on a luxurious flagship concept rather than an open supercar.
