Vintage original 10 " X 13 3/4 ", 1941, LIFE magazine advertisement in fair condition (examine scan before bidding- note small 1/4" tear on RH side) for THE 1941 CHEVROLET SPECIAL DELUXE 4-DOOR SEDAN. 2nd scan shows all of the AD. 3rd scan shows reverse with CALIFORNIA PRUNE GROWERS advertisement. Copy reads in part : " Make Your Own Tests of Chevrolet...and you'll say it's ' FIRST BECAUSE IT'S FINEST !' ... Quail motoring show is on for 2010
Thu, 19 Nov 2009The Quail motorsports gathering that is part of the Monterey Historics/Pebble Beach Concours d'Elegance weekend is alive and well, according to the event's organizers. They say that although the owners of the Quail Lodge closed the hotel portion of the resort on Nov. 16, the golf course and clubhouse remain open and will continue to run the Quail Motorcycle Gathering on May 8, 2010, and the Quail, a Motorsports Gathering.

Held at Silverstone over this weekend there were cars, and people, from the four corners of the earth. Over 10,000 Minis, and 25,000 people, made the pilgrimage to Silverstone to celebrate all things Mini (and MINI) in style.
