Here is a VINTAGE 1941 PACKARD GLOVE BOX DOOR. The main flaw is that one of the hinges is missing and the metal in the area around where the hinge goes has some mild damage (mild). The chrome center strip has some rust spots and pitting here and there throughout and the plastic trim piece above the chrome strip has mild to moderate crazing. Despite these flaws this piece still has potential for restoration or more likely to be made to use on a daily driver. Please check out the pictures and email us with questions before bidding. My feelings about the chassis, brakes, steering--everything about the driving dynamics--remain the same as with our SE Sport tester a few weeks back: brilliant. For a C-segment car (granted, one tickling $27,000), the Focus is incredibly composed and unflappable in all but the most ridiculous street driving.

Roof leaks dampen Autorama

The Detroit Autorama was marred last weekend by a leaky roof that spilled salty, rusty water onto several custom cars. The leaks were caused by a combination of heavy precipitation--Detroit has had one of the snowiest winters in recent memory that gave way to an early March rainstorm--which pummeled an aging roof. Water fell to the show floor in six spots, temporarily damaging seven or eight cars.
