Vintage original  10 1/2 " X 13 1/2 ", February 28, 1948 COLLIER'S magazine advertisement in fair condition (examine scans before bidding- wrinkled) for THE  1948  CHEVROLET  TRUCKS. 2nd scan shows all of the AD.  3rd scan shows reverse with BOTANY 500 TOPCOAT advertisement. Copy reads in part : " NEW  CHEVROLET  Advanced - Design Trucks for 1948... The Newest Line...The greatest Features... The Biggest Values ! ..." Chevrolet resumed civilian truck production in August, 1945. The so-called 'Advanced-Design' trucks began production in May 1947. The illustration shows no vent windows, but the copy says this one a 1948.

And it was happening. The official announcement saw BMW reveal an official video of the 1 Series M Coupe out on the track sporting the ubiquitous black and white swirls of camouflage so beloved of car makers with a new model to tease.

Fiat dealers likely to get Alfa, Marchionne says

Sergio Marchionne, CEO of the Chrysler Group, said that Alfa Romeo vehicles will likely be sold at Fiat dealerships in the United States. About 200 Fiat franchises will be awarded this fall, mainly to Chrysler Group dealerships in metro markets friendly to small cars. Fiat is preparing to bring Alfa vehicles to the United States starting in late 2012.

Reports out of Europe have Fiat considering selling a big chunk of Ferrari S.p.A. to raise cash so it can increase its stake in Chrysler Group to 51 percent. The Italian newspaper Il Corriere della Sera said it has gathered information at Fiat’s Turin headquarters and reported Fiat wants to raise cash to fund buying 51 percent of Chrysler, up from the 20 percent it owns now.
