This is a vintage copper & chrome globe emblem from the vertical face of a 1950 Oldsmobile hood. The emblem is mounted on a carved block of white oak. There are natural splits in the face of the wood block. Photo #4 shows a typical 1950 Oldsmobile that has this emblem on the hood. The carved wood block is finished with a tinted English furniture wax - easy to maintain or touch-up with Johnson's wax. There is felt on the bottom to protect furniture surfaces. Makes a great gift for a classic car aficionado to display in den or garage. Dimensions: L-12" x W-3.5" x H-5.25". SHIPPING: Shipping within the contiguous U.S. only.
