Vintage 1950s Navigator Compass Model 2500-G not sure if ever USED IN BOX for Boat or Automobile. Fully compensated Two way dial. Highly chromed metal case with powerful special magnets. This is very heavy. Dual purpose bracket for rigid mounting or gimbal action. 3 inches tall and the dome is 2 1/8. Andy Wilman, who is the brains behind TG (and its producer) together with Jeremy Clarkson, has been bemoaning the budget cuts planned for the show on the TG website. THE BOSS of BBC hit Top Gear says the presenters' childish antics are a success because they are a "release valve" for the increasing stresses of our working lives. Executive producer Andy Wilman said the programmes helped viewers to reconnect with their nine-year-old selves because life for adults is "bloody hard". In an interview with Radio Times, he also bemoaned the constraints of the workplace, which could be seen as a swipe at the strict levels of compliance which apply to BBC TV shows.

Ford Focus given street art makeover

A Ford Focus was transformed into a work of art yesterday by six street artists in Glasgow city center as part of the Ford UK Centenary Tour. Outside the Glasgow Royal Concert Hall, the six artists worked out of a public studio to use their talents to liven up the bodywork of a new Focus. The artists – Lyken, FiST, Syrkus, Rue 5, Death Rattles and Al White – are all from Glasgow's Independent Recoat Gallery, and spent six hours on their colorful designs.
