Excellent unused condition - 1952 Idaho motorcycle license plate, burgandy with white lettering.  Has a little of the white paint worn off around the border.  With the correct year metal tab, this could be used for other years.  

Measures 6 3/8" x 4 1/8".

Automakers try to stop increase in ethanol limit to 15 percent of gasoline

Automakers are seeking to head off an EPA ruling that would allow gasoline to contain 15 percent ethanol, up from 10 percent now, and they've won some bipartisan congressional support. The two main automaker industry lobbies have argued that the U.S. Department of Energy has done insufficient testing to assure that gasoline containing up to 15 percent ethanol won't harm vehicles.

'Flip-Top' Shelby Cobra headed for auction block

Bidders who make the trip to RM Auctions' Arizona sale in January will have the chance to buy the "Flip-Top" 1964 Shelby Cobra 427 prototype. The car is noted for its forward-hinged hood and rear-hinged deck. Race driver Ken Miles led the design, build and development of the unique car, which carries serial number CSX 2196.
