For sale is a set of 8 big block Chevy high horsepower aluminum connecting rods as shown.  They have been out of the package for decades so they have some signs of age.  They do not appear to have been used much if at all, they were likely assembled into an engine because the caps are stamped with the cylinder locations.  These are Mickey Thompson MT-1606.  Big end is 2.325" diameter, wrist pin end is .990".  Center of small bore to center of large bore is 6.1275".  Due to age and visual appearance, consider these connecting rods as used.

Chevy to sponsor 2011 Woodward Dream Cruise

UPDATED: One of the most iconic American brands has signed on to present one of America's greatest celebrations of sheetmetal. Chevrolet and Detroit's Woodward Dream Cruise announced on Thursday afternoon a sponsorship agreement expected to run for at least three years, starting this summer. The deal is for more than $1 million and covers support services, cleanup and police.

2014 Chevrolet Volt gets a $5,000 price cut

General Motors is cutting the Chevrolet Volt's price by $5,000 amid price pressure from rival electrified vehicles. The sticker price on the 2014 Volt, which will arrive at dealerships this month, will be $34,995, including an $810 destination fee. That drops the effective price to $27,495, after applying the $7,500 federal tax credit for the plug-in hybrid.
