1968 Harley Davidson Fastback helmet. Good shape. Some dents, scratches, and chips, but shell is sound. Lining is intact without tears. Leather straps are good, but could use a leather conditioner. Foam padding has dried, and is flaking off, but all original padding exists. Binding around edges is intact, shows wear on bottom edge. For some reason, previous owner removed the top half of the "Harley Davidson Fastback" sticker on rear, Leaving only "Fastback". Side reflector triangle stickers on sides mostly intact. Certification tags (1968 & SHCA) present, along with a "S" tag (my hat size is 7 3/8", and helmet fits, though tight). A very cool, quality, vintage helmet. Hyundai ix35 facelift to cost from £16,995 – extended model range & specs
Fri, 23 Aug 2013The ‘new’ Hyundai ix35 (pictured) costs from £16,995 Hyundai revealed the mildly facelifted ix35 back in March (and a better looking version for the Korean market a couple of months later) and now, with the new ix35 on sale next week, we have news of prices and specs. We covered the tweaks Hyundai have made to the ix35 back in March – and they’re really quite minor – but the trim levels are also changing and the more powerful 2.0 litre diesel is biting the dust. The ix35 range now kicks off with the ix35 S 1.6-litre GDi 2WD manual at £16,995 which comes with 16″ alloys, central locking, USB and AUX, AirCon, Hillstart Assist and Downhill Brake Control (designed to help those who can’t really drive).
Porsche Design creates Shisha pipe
Mon, 25 Jul 2011Porsche has designed a Shisha pipe as part of their Porsche Design World Collection. The Shisha will be the latest addition to the collection, which already ranges from chopsticks to a tea and soup set as well as fashion items such as a polo shirt, a jacket and a silk scarf. The pipe, made in Germany, stands at 55cm tall and is made up of materials such as glass, aluminum and stainless steel.
Volkswagen Taigun concept (2014): VW’s new baby SUV
Fri, 07 Feb 2014It seems the tailgate-mounted spare wheel could be making a comeback – first Ford launches the EcoSport, now VW has followed suit with this updated Taigun concept. Both cars are small crossover SUVs, aimed at emerging markets, particularly Brazil and India. With the EcoSport appearing in UK dealerships this May, however, we don’t think it will be too long before a production version of the Taigun offers VW’s take on the idea to European buyers as well.
