Condition:Used

We recently purchased the contents of a barn from a life long collector of vintage car parts.  Check out our other auctions and "The Old Car Parts Store" for similar items that have been in storage for the past 40+ years.

Here is an ORIGINAL MOPAR HORN FROM A 1969 ROAD RUNNER.  This is not reproduction.  It has moderate surface rust throughout but you can still see areas with the original purple paint.  We did bench test this unit and it does not work.  It could be as simple as not being able to establish a good ground or maybe it's something more than that?  This has the short mounting bracket.  Please check out the pictures and ask questions before bidding.  Professional packaging guaranteed (see our feedback).  Bid with confidence and good luck.

Consulatation on 20mph speed limit

Tue, 22 Oct 2013

BIRMINGHAM City Council has launched a public consultation on plans which could see around 90% of roads in the city given a 20mph speed limit. The authority believes the "20 is Plenty" scheme, costing around £7 million, would make residential streets safer and transport networks more sustainable. Key routes would keep higher speed limits under the long-term proposals, but public feedback is also being sought on whether the 20mph scheme should also be considered for busy high street shopping areas, around schools, leisure facilities, hospitals and public transport interchanges.

IAM lobbies Labour for road casualty reduction targets

Wed, 25 Sep 2013

THE INSTITUTE of Advanced Motorists has called on the Labour Party to back the reintroduction of targets for reducing injuries and deaths on the road. The road safety organisation renewed its calls for targets to be reintroduced at the political party's annual conference in Brighton. An IAM survey of local councillors earlier this year showed that those affiliated with Labour were, in the IAM’s estimation, the most committed to road safety.

Porsche to add 1,000 employees

Mon, 14 Feb 2011

To keep pace with its planned model expansion and sales targets, Porsche AG will add more than 1,000 employees by 2015, Automotive News Europe has learned from Volkswagen Group sources. About 500 jobs will be added for production of Porsche's new compact SUV, codenamed the Cajun, which will go on sale in 2013 in Europe and in North America about six months later. Porsche's supervisory board will make a decision on the production location of the Cajun in mid-March.
