VERY GOOD CONDITION

This listing is for a vintage 1970s green leather Convoy trucker's duffle, laundry and/or clothes bag in very good condition.  There are a few scuff marks, small missing portions of the Convoy picture and wear to the inside lining but no major damage such as tears, holes or split seams.  It appears to be green leather, but may be a soft vinyl leather-like material.  Since the bag has traveled throughout the country for many years, it is most certainly extremely durable and wants to travel again, secretly longing to climb to the summit of Pike's Peak!  The smoke stack spells out CONVOY and the trucks are all lined up behind the lead 18 wheeler labeled REEFER with a road sign "Back-um-Down Bears Ahead" and a helicopter above sporting the Texaco symbol.  The bag measures about 25 by 17 inches.

Bruce Meyer, one of the best ambassadors of the collector-car hobby, will be honored as an "Automotive Icon" at the 30th anniversary of the Dana Point Concours d'Elegance, June 23-24, 2012, in Dana Point, Calif. Meyer's list of boosterism for the car hobby is long and impressive.
