Toyota NS4 Hybrid Concept tease for Detroit

Toyota NS4 Hybrid Concept teased Toyota are teasing a new hybrid concept car – the NS4 – ahead of the Detroit Auto Show in January. Today it’s Toyota’s turn to roll out the photographer they used last week to take photos of the Lexus concept for Detroit. This time it’s the Toyota NS4 being teased, and it looks like the photographer left his camera where it was after the Lexus shot and just rolled the NS4 in to view.

Toyota has a long history of long gestations for its sports cars (remember the Lexus LFA's birth?). But today we can finally bring you the first pictures of the new Toyota GT 86 sports car, ne FT-86 concept car from back in 2009. We'll see the GT 86 at the Tokyo auto show in the next week, with UK sales due in spring 2012.

New Range Rover (2013) wins Top Gear Luxury Car of the Year

The 2013 Range Rover – Land Rover’s new Flagship SUV – has won its first major award as Top Gear Luxury car of the year. Interestingly, it seems Land Rover are as sceptical as we were about the proclamation by the Sunday Times in October that the 2013 Range Rover was their luxury SUV of the year, despite never even driving it. Not that anyone is doubting the new Range Rover’s right to such a gong, just that it seemed odd to award it to a car that was still too new to judge.
