We've sold over 300 vintage tailgates that customers use in restorations and repurpose into benches, tables, fences or signs. We generally have several different makes and models, so be sure to view our other auctions and check back often…you never know what Pete will find. There is a reason they are so popular…the size makes them the perfect bench back and the old worn paint and random dents and dings give them unique character; the patina of the oxidized metal can only be produced by time and the elements. This tailgate came off a 1979 Ford and will fit up to an '85 for a restoration. The finish is green with some of the original blue showing through; great as is or remove some of the green to expose the blue. Use the Zoom feature for an accurate description of condition; the back has 2 small areas of rust-through. The top is ever-so-slightly tweaked and can be straightened. There are a few small dents. The handle is in good working condition. 67 x 21 1/2". |

It didn't place its product in a show, which has become more and more common. “We can take my Prius, it has navigation!” And it didn't quite make a commercial spot, in the traditional sense, at least.

Three world debuts for Hyundai at Paris motor show 2012: the i20 WRC rally car The headline-grabbing launch on the Hyundai stand was this rally-ready i20. The Koreans have form here, with an Accent racer, but it last competed in WRC in 2003; now, a decade later, Hyundai plans to re-enter the new WRC with its own in-house team.

Fiat are determined to extend the 500 franchise with an extended range of models, such as the Fiat 500L we saw officially launched earlier today. Next up will be the Fiat 500X, a crossover come SUV based on the same Punto platform as the new 500L and aimed at the same market place as the MINI Countryman.
