Sealed, vintage packaging. Packaging has some soiling / shelf wear on the exterior of the cardboard. Part inside appears in as-new condition still. Unknown vehicle application, but suspect Dodge, Plymouth or Ford from 1968 thru 1980 due to previous estate owners cars. Date coded 1982 by Packard wire (A GM division).

New old replacement stock unopened, but cosmetically soiled, cardboard blister package with one replacement engine spark plug to distributor wire lead.

Wire is marked PACKARD, with date code 1-Q-82

Wire type marked is TV-R-SUPPRESSION for use on vehicles with a radio option

Packard would be a General Motors division at the time, but supplied cable for non-GM applications as well just like AC Delco.

For an American make vehicle, but model and brand unknown. Likely either Ford, Dodge or Plymouth as came from estate sale lot, owner only had these brands of vehicles from 1981 back to 1969. But no identification on part to confirm application.  So exact application unknown.  Know what this is before you buy.

The letter Q, of course, is the designation for the brand’s SUV line-up, which currently kicks-off with the Audi A3-based Q3. GM moving Chevrolet Impala to Detroit plant

General Motors said Wednesday that it will build the next-generation Chevrolet Impala at its Detroit-Hamtramck assembly plant, adding 2,500 jobs. The current Impala is built at GM's plant in Oshawa, Ontario. The next version is expected to go into production in 2013 or 2014.
