I am a Senior Citizen that thoroughly enjoys searching for treasures at auctions, flea markets, and yard sales, and many of my treasures are now finding their way into my little store or ebay.  Some of my unique items are being passed on from friends & family.  In all cases, I try very hard to describe each item accurately and to insure that all are in working condition.    When I indicate that an item is vintage, it will rarely be perfect – such items are preowned and in most all cases they will show some kind of handling soil and aging signs.  Please do not expect them to be in the same condition as if they were new and just manufactured.

I understand the problems associated with cigarette smoking, so I try to make sure that there are no such unpleasant odors associated with any of the auctions.  However if I come across a unique item that does have this odor I will let you know in my listing.  My home is smoke free, but not pet free.

If you are unable to pay for your auction within 3 days of winning, please let me know when to expect payment and I will be glad to wait a reasonable time – if you have not paid by the 8th day, Ebay will automatically open an unpaid item case.

Most of my Buy It Now auctions include free shipping – I have calculated the cost to ship and included it in the price.  Please keep in mind that I do not set the USPS or Fedex shipping rates, and I will always ship the least expensive way which means that most of you purchasing an item of heavy weight  and living in the US midwest to west coast will probably receive your items by Fedex Home Delivery (unless you only have a PO box).

Your friendly emails are welcome at all times, so if there is a question or a problem please do not hesitate to let me know.  I will always work with you to correct any mistake on my part.

Feedback will be left in response to yours as I will then know that you have received your item and it was as described.  Thanks to all of my repeat customers – I highly value your business, good will, and taste, which apparently compliments mine.  Happy bidding and GOD Bless America!

ATTENTION INTERNATIONAL BUYERS:
Please be aware that duty, custom, import taxes or other fees may be added to your charges.  I am sorry for the additional costs but these fees are added by your country and I have no control over them.

Hyundai ix20 (2010) first official teaser sketch

Thu, 02 Sep 2010

Hyundai is the latest car manufacturer to join the mini-MPV party, with the upcoming ix20, and ahead of its preview at the Paris motor show at the end of this month, the Korean company has released this teaser sketch. Designed and developed at Hyundai’s European research and development centre in Rüsselsheim, Germany, the ix20 is essentially Hyundai’s version of sister firm Kia’s Venga.  Hyundai would have you believe it’s a little bit of both – the ‘ix’ moniker has been chosen to suggest its cross-over like capability. The Korean manufacturer says the ix20 is ‘a vehicle with the ability to simultaneously serve as a functional people-carrier while providing a dynamic, fun-to-drive experience’; the Venga has shown that it’s a capable and competent, if unexciting, small MPV.

CDN–GM Interactive Design Competition winners announced at NAIAS

Mon, 21 Jan 2013

The winners of the CDN–GM Interactive Design Competition have been announced at the North American International Auto Show (NAIAS) in Detroit. Following a guided tour of the auto show with the GM design team, the finalists gathered on the GMC stand in Cobo Hall where Mark Adams and Ken Parkinson – heads of design for Cadillac & Buick, and Chevrolet & GMC respectively – were joined by Car Design News' Editor Owen Ready to present the winners of each brand's competition brief. Joining them on stage were the mentors from GM's design teams who interacted with the entrants throughout the competition to critique and help develop their work, making this a truly unique contest.

After a rocky start, Honda's CR-Z joins U.S. hybrid derby

Mon, 08 Mar 2010

Honda Motor Co.'s new CR-Z sporty hybrid is the car that nearly wasn't. The wedge-shaped, two-seat hatchback was almost killed twice because engineers weren't convinced it was a unique concept and because U.S. bosses originally didn't want it.
