Up for bid is a vintage 70s Snap-On 3/8” drive x 5/8” Crowsfoot – Flare Nut socket in great physical and working condition. This socket is stamped with the part number: AN-8506-4, the number “5/8” for the size and the letters “US” (see PIC) – please note that the socket was NOT stamped with the Snap-On name for this series. This high quality USA made socket is pre-owned and does show some signs of use and wear (see PIC). This item was purchased at an estate sale in southern California where many collectible tools from the 50s through 80s were offered. I am listing this item based on the information I received from the previous owner and my Internet research. General Motors will go to market with four core brands in the future: Chevrolet, Cadillac, Buick and GMC. Pontiac will be shrunk "significantly," a senior GM executive told the Automotive News World Congress. GM COO Fritz Henderson said that GM is conducting a strategic review of its Saab and Hummer brands and that the "status quo" for the Saturn brand will not work.
