Hello, This is a VINTAGE 30s, 40s, 50s, 60s ORIGINAL BLUE Color: ROYAL BLUE & METAL TRIM. There's No Nicks or Scratches on the Knob that I can see. Looks Pretty Cool. Mount & Knob have a Nice, RIBBED DESIGN. Area Below Knob & in the Ribs is BLACK. Looks like: Art Decco Style. VERY COOL. Material: I think it's made of Bakelite. Might be a Plastic. Chrome looks Very Nice, No Large Pits. Does have a few very tiny ones that are hard to see unless looked at closely. Might be from the Original Mfg. Process & the Older Style Chrome & use. Bottom of Mount has a Rough Cast Finish. The Screws are Not Original but will work Fine. You can replace them with Tappered head screws easily. The slight marks or scratches may not show once mounted.
The Blue & Chrome areas are still Very Shiney. Knob Measures: 1 7/8" across & 3" tall. As you can see, Chrome & Knob still Shines Very Well. Top of knob has 2 Trim Straps. Looks like Stainless.
