Here is a vintage Stewart Warner tach and vacuum gauge combo. Model # is 760 C. This is a 6 volt tach. I did find a 1958 Stewart Warner tach booklet on the internet and this is where this info came from. Tach face is 4 1/2 inches in diameter and complete unit is 4 55/64 inches long. This has the curved glass lens and mounting strap. Face graphics are in excellent shape with no fading. There is some paint loss on the needles. The engine hour numbers look a little darker than the larger numbers on the face. Needle bounces freely.. The connector is still attached for the vacuum gauge. The cable is still soft and plyable with no cracking and end connector is still present. There is a spot in the cable that has been taped. I have not tested this tach since I don't have anything this vintage to test it on. This tach does need a sender which I have in another auction. Last picture shows the sender hooked to the tach. It's called the GT1, and CAR has been given the lowdown on this new supercar.
