Up for bid is a rare and vintage Safco 12VDC Hand Held Spotlight with cigarette lighter power plug in great physical and working condition (see PIC). The rubber spotlight body measures 8 1/2" long, is 5" wide with a 4" diameter GE 12VDC bulb (tested and working) and has a 11' cord with the original red Safco 12VDC cigarette lighter plug (see PICs). This made in the USA product is used and does show some very light signs of use, wear and age (see PICs). This treasure was discovered at an estate sale in southern California where many vintage automotive items from the 1930s through 1970s were offered. This spotlight is being listed based on information I received from the seller and my Internet research. Please feel free to ask any questions or request more detailed PICs or measurements. The fourth annual World Automotive Design Competition was hosted by the Canadian International Auto Show in Toronto, Ontario, on February 17. Students were asked to design a world car that has universal appeal. Christophe Charbault, a design student from the Ecole de design at the Universite de Montreal, won the first prize of US $10,000.

JAGUAR is bringing history to life with an incredible mission to build six ‘Lightweight’ E-Types from scratch – by hand. The firm’s ‘finest craftsmen’ will hand-build each of the ultra-rare E-Type racers to the exact specification dictated on the original plans, including the 3.8-litre straight-six petrol engine. The cars were originally destined to be built in the 1960s as part of a run of 18, but only 12 were ever made.
