This is a vintage 57 Chevy 4 door seat cover lot in unused preowned condition. This set is vintage and still has the original box. The box is in rough condition but is included. The lot includes rear seat cover back and bottom, front seat cover back, two long white pieces,(not sure what those are for), and original box. Unfortunately the FRONT BOTTOM SEAT COVERS and armrests ARE NOT INCLUDED. They appear to be made of a durable vinyl synthetic plastic leather material. They are classic black and white color with metallic silver highlight strips. They have some surface and age wear. There are some small marks and some light discoloration but they still look great. There are no rips or tears and they are still pliable and usable. These are great for an authentic period restoration. See photos.

Is the 2013 Aston Martin Rapide getting more power and a facelift?

Fri, 03 Aug 2012

The rumours are growing that Aston Martin are giving the Rapide a makeover for 2013 with more power and cosmetic tweaks. The rumours have been bubbling around for a while that Aston Martin are planning a more powerful Rapide for 2013, perhaps the Rapide S. But that rumour seems to be only partly true, as it looks like the Rapide is going to get more power – and a bit of a cosmetic tweak – but as a facelift and upgrade for the existing Rapide rather than a new Rapide S.

Police authorities turning a blind eye to lane hoggers

Tesla asks NHTSA to investigate fires

Tue, 19 Nov 2013

In response to concerns following a recent accident which appeared to result from road debris damaging the underside of a battery compartment of a Tesla Model S, causing a fire in the engine compartment, the company has announced that it has requested that the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration conduct a full investigation into the fire incidents. In a blog post, Tesla CEO Elon Musk wrote the following about the investigation: "While we think it is highly unlikely, if something is discovered that would result in a material improvement in occupant fire safety, we will immediately apply that change to new cars and offer it as a free retrofit to all existing cars. Given that the incidence of fires in the Model S is far lower than combustion cars and that there have been no resulting injuries, this did not at first seem like a good use of NHTSA's time compared to the hundreds of gasoline fire deaths per year that warrant their attention." Tesla has also released a software update to the cars which will maintain their standard ride height at highway speeds, preventing the air suspension from lowering the car an extra inch at highway speeds for greater aerodynamic efficiency.
