Item appears in TYPICAL AS FOUND VINTAAGE CONDITION and does show wear and tear from past use and storage. Item was in long term storage and has not been used in a long time. fading is visable o n the main case and surface rust is visable on the shaft casing. There are some minor blemishes on the cap. The bottom drive gear is worn from running with a roller cam and needs replacing. Internally item appears good with no visable damage, excessive wear, repairs or missing parts. Wires appear good with no visabe damage or excessive wear. Item spins over nice with no binding and points open and close as intended. Item has sat for a long period and operational status is unknown. Servicing and refurbishing this item highly recommended. Past usage history unknown. Great nostalgia item for Gasser,Hot Rod,or collector!

Available for auction is this cool 60's Vertex Ronco magneto for Chevy small block or big block. Vertex mags were the hot ticket for getting the fire lit in a hot dragster, altered or gasser that had no on board electrical system. Vertex mags were noted for their reliability and performance and were used by many top notch racers back in the day. Today, these old school units are very popular with nostalgia racers and rodders all over and the unit featured in this auction would be just what a hot rodder or vintage drag racer is looking for. This is an Old Skool Vertex Ronco unit from the 60's or early 70's, and fits Chevy 265-400 sbc and 396-454 bbc standard deck applications. This unit is complete as shown with cap and Taylor wires. This cool mag was just removed form long term storage and has not been used in ages. It does show wear and tear from past use and storage and its operational status is unknown as described under CONDITION. There is surface rust and fading on the case and some minor surface blemishes on the cap. The bottom gear is worn and needs replacing. This mag has NOT BEEN TESTED and should be serviced and refurbished before use.
