Up for bid is a vintage 65-78 VW Passenger Side
Rear Quarter Rubber Set Frame with Trim Molding with Window Glass in good
overall condition (see PICs).
Please note that the rubber set molding is split at the top and should to be
replace before the item is used. The glass is marked VW (in a circle)
Duro-Glas-1 Liz.Sekurit D-85 in the upper left corner (see PICs). Please note
that this may be a driver's side glass that has been set in a passenger's side
rubber molding as the upper portion of the glass markings read from the inside
if placed in the passenger side of a vehicle (see PICs). This item is used and
does show some signs of use, wear and age (see PICs). This item was purchased at an estate sale in southern California
where many VW items from the 50s thru 80s were offered. This item is being
listed based on information received from the seller and my Internet research.

Flintoff spared ban for speeding
Fri, 29 Aug 2014ANDREW 'Freddie' Flintoff has escaped a driving ban for speeding in his Bentley after arguing "exceptional hardship" to magistrates. Flintoff, 36, was already on nine points for speeding and in danger of an automatic ban with another three points after admitting being behind the wheel when flashed by a camera doing 87mph on the M6, near Linstock, Cumbria on January 28 this year, Carlisle Magistrates' Court heard. But JPs accepted a ban would amount to exceptional hardship because of the effect on others who rely on his extensive charity work and the privacy of his three children.

Thu, 17 May 2012Vauxhall Ellesmere Port - Saved General Motors is to keep Vauxhall’s Ellesmere Port open, move to three shift working and create 700 new jobs. The overcapacity of mainstream car manufacture in Europe as the market becomes ever more polarised between premium and budget cars – squeezing the middle – means car maker having to rationalise their output. Many thought that could mean the end of Vauxhall’s Ellesmere Port as GM sought to stem its European losses (around £2 billion in the last three years), especially as it is easier to close plants and lay off workers in the UK than in mainland Europe.
