This is a very very nice vintage steering wheel off of a 1972 Buick Skylark GS model. It is straight, not warped or bent at all. The thin little chrome piece around the wheel is a little loose on one spot but I am sure it can be glued, just didn't want to. The rubber is not sticky at all, nice and clean. The Buick emblem as you an see in the photos has some of the black that has come off over time. I am sure it can be painted or black taped or maybe even a marker. Did not want to, this is all original and you will know what you are getting. It is the sport grip model as you can see in the photo. I think not sure, that is will fit the Chevelle, Nova, Monte Carlo, & Corvette again not sure. Check your application before bidding. Now, this is sold as is so look closely at the pics for condition.

Must be paid for within 2 days of close of auction.

Volkswagen CrossBlue SUV Concept: 2013 Detroit Auto Show

Mon, 14 Jan 2013

Volkswagen has revealed a new SUV concept – the VW Crossblue – at the Detroit Auto show, previewing a new 7-seat SUV for North America. But this particular VW SUV isn’t heading to a VW showroom near you, instead it’s designed to accommodate seven full-size Americans (well, six in the concept and seven in the production version) in an SUV that will be bigger than the Touareg, but less costly. Sitting on the (obviously very flexible, considering the size of the CrossBlue) MQB platform that underpins the Golf, the CrossBlue looks like it’s probably a stretched version of the next generation Tiguan, complete with VWs new SUV design language featuring a less flowing style with more angular lines and a blunt, statement nose.

Peugeot 308 (2014) first pictures of Peugeot's new Focus-fighter

Mon, 13 May 2013

This is Peugeot's all-new family hatchback: the 308. Yep, that's right: Peugeot isn't rolling over to the '309' moniker, but don't be fooled: the new 308's design looks worlds apart from the off-the-pace outgoing car. Sticking with the same model names for all future cars will simplify the range for consumers, reckons Peugeot: it's a demonstration of the fightback to rebuild the brand's image (think Ford ditching the 'Escort' badge and sticking with 'Focus' instead). The new 308 is 140kg lighter than before, more economical and gets a totally rethought cabin.

Long-time racing journalist Chris Economaki dies

Fri, 28 Sep 2012

UPDATE: Whoever you are, wherever you are, take a moment to think of Chris Economaki. Make it your personal tribute, however brief, to this grand old man of auto racing journalists because he left us late Thursday, Sept. 27 at age 91, and he left a hole in the motorsports firmament that can never be filled.
