New Old Stock 1970s Air Shocks made by Monroe, #SU-608.
Includes 2 Shocks U-1608 and Installation Kit AK-18 in original box.
Shocks are stamped P32183D.

Dimensions of shocks are;
The bottom mount has 2 mounting holes 3/8 inches oblong that are 3 inches apart center to center.
Top shaft is approx 3/8 inches in diameter and 2 1/4 inches long.
Overall length of shock is 16 7/8" in current position in picture.

Not sure what vehicles these shocks fit but probably 50s, 60s, 70s, and maybe 80s?  Unable to find application data.  These Old School Shocks were sold by Western Auto in the 70s.

Any sports or sporty car driver worth their gear oil will remember the mighty Datsun 510 - the front-engine, rear-drive coupe, sedan and wagon that gave racers on a budget something that was just as fun to pilot as BMWs and Alfas of the day. From 1968 to 1973 you could have as much fun as any of those guys with fancy European rides. Toyota Motor Corp. said on Thursday that it will conduct safety tests on all of its SUVs after suspending sales of the Lexus GX 460 following a report of a risk of rollover accidents. Toyota stopped GX 460 sales earlier this week.
