Hello, you are looking at a primary snowmobile clutch off of a 73 John Deere JDX8 340 snowmobile. Comes with mounting bolt. Clutch is in nice condition. I took it apart and checked everything and it looks good; all rollers and weights look nice. Not sure if it is THE clutch for a JDX8, but that is the snowmobile it came off. Looks like it has not been used much, just sitting, but functions smoothly. Should fit several different snowmobiles, but please do your own checking to make sure it will fit yours. If you need other jdx parts let me no, i might have them. If you have any ?'s please feel free to email me. Thanks:)

Project Car Hell, Homely but Lovable Edition: Triumph Mayflower or Frazer Vagabond?

Thu, 29 May 2014

Welcome back to Project Car Hell, where those little carburetor screws always disappear down the intake and all the parts you need are hoarded by bitter curmudgeons in Alaskan survivalist shacks. The Hell Garage Demons have come to the realization that the ugly cars of the early postwar era just don't get enough restoration love these days, and so they've taken a break from their day jobs (boiler-room managers for a major telemarketing firm) in order to scour the List of Craig for a pair of suitably homely machines from the 1946-1954 period. There were many to choose from, but they've found a couple of appropriate cars made on opposite sides of the Atlantic.

Renault Clio Expression Eco: A perfect commuter car

Sun, 15 May 2011

Renault Clio Expression Eco - makes any electric car seem profligate We hear so much about how electric cars make the perfect commuter car. They can manage to do a fifty or sixty mile round trip a day, don’t need a tax disc and – for those going in to London every day – there’s no congestion charge to pay. There’s also the negligible cost of electricity to charge the car (for now, at least) and the zero emissions at the point of use.

Nissan Micra ELLE: It’s a Micra for the Ladies

Fri, 24 Aug 2012

Nissan has revealed a limited edition Micra – the Micra ELLE – produced in conjunction with Elle Magazine. There is a strong argument that the Nissan Micra is predominantly aimed at the fairer sex, and if that was in doubt the new Micra ELLE confirms it. Nissan has joined up with Elle Magazine to produce a limited run of 500 of the Micra Elle with cosmetic titivation (what else?) including panoramic roof (helps with putting makeup on), extra chrome (nice and sparkly), titanium grey alloys (which will unfortunately show every kerbing dent) and fog lights (for when it’s not foggy).
