 You are bidding on a Vintage AC Portable Electronic Tachometer ST 122 6468186 made by the AC Spark Plug Division General Motors Corporation Flint Michigan in great original working condition. I shot extra pictures in higher resolution to help answer some of your questions on its condition. Take the time to view all the pictures to see what I have described. From what I can tell it’s in totally original condition as is its AC Box that has a date of 12-65 on one of its flaps. It does have some light scratches / rub marks from taking it in and out of its original box & from use. The original black dual wire rubber coated cord has some cracking & some rubber insulation missing because it’s getting a bit brittle from age. I shot 3 pictures with the tach attached to a friend’s 1960's Econoline 6 cylinder van to show it while working. This is a pretty cool unit which can be used on 1,2,3,4,6 and 8 cylinder engine / motors, with either 6 or 12 volt systems. Its red & black alligator clipped cord stores easily in the rear of the tach by simply rotating its rear cover up. This is not just a great looking portable tach to have at a car show. It’s still a fully functional tool to use tuning up your vintage car.
