Description: We are pleased to offer here, original, Very rare, Russian Military Aircraft Cockpit Clock AChS 1-M #40177 MIG/SU Russian USSR cockpit clock AChS 1-M for Soviet Union Aircrafts MiG, strategic bombers, Helicopter and transport planes. The clock has dust-proof case. Dome glass is mineral crystal. The arrows glow in the dark. Clock used. Clock working. Depending on the ambient temperature may add or lose a several minutes per day. I sell this clock in a condition as it is: for the museum, for a collection, for movie studios. These clock have been designed to withstand speeds of 1800 mph (2900 km/h) and altitudes of up to 100,000 feet (30 km). These robust timepieces are built to keep time flawlessly while pulling 6G's. These watches were very popular in the USSR. They are inserted into the dashboard cars. Diameter case - aprox. 85 mm. Diameter dial's - aprox. 72 mm. Thickness (without screws) - aprox. 62 mm. Thickness (with screws) - aprox. 90 mm. Serial number 40177. Made in the USSR. The dial is covered with a luminous paint for night use Two-day precision clock movement with 25 jewels. Citroen has announced that their super-frugal C3 with a ridiculously long name (which fortunately doesn’t seem to be painted on the boot lid) and which was first seen at the Frankfurt Motor Show back in September, is now on sale in the UK. The figures for the C3 e-HDI really are quite remarkable.
New BMW voice control system
Mon, 08 Jun 2009BMW are fitting a new voice control system to their cars from September Hopefully this will work. My own experience of voice control systems is not great – I usually end up doing it manually through the interface. But with BMW’s pretty complicated iDrive system it will be a big plus, and safer, to speak your commands.
