German Grand Prix (2013) RESULT

Sun, 07 Jul 2013

The 2013 German Grand Prix (pictured) The expectation for the 2013 German Grand Prix is that even if Vettel can’t win his home Grand Prix for the first time, there should at least be a ‘German’ win with Hamilton in the Mercedes on pole. But Hamilton made a poor start and it wasn’t just Vettel who got past, but Webber too to make it a one-two away from the line for Red Bull. But at Webber’s first pit stop a wheel came off as he pulled away, hitting a cameraman, and by the time he got his wheel joined to the car again he was a lap down.

Lamborghini Murcielago LP650-4 Roadster (2009)

Fri, 13 Mar 2009

By Ben Pulman First Official Pictures 13 March 2009 16:30 Another week, another special edition Lamborghini - but this is the Murcielago LP650-4 Roadster, the most powerful Raging Bull this side of the new SV. Not a bit of it – this LP650-4 has 641bhp, 10bhp on the standard car. The peak torque figure and the four-wheel drive system remain unchanged, so the 0-62mph sprint time remains pegged at (a hardly lethargic) 3.4 seconds, but the top speed is up a few units to 205mph.

Concept Car of the Week: Matra Laser (1971)

Fri, 12 Apr 2013

Founded in 1937, French company Matra began its activities by manufacturing military equipment such as aeronautics and weaponry. In the mid ‘60s, under Jean-Luc Lagardere's ambitious direction, the company bought Automobiles Rene Bonnet to expand its portfolio with street and racing cars. The first model solely developed by Matra was the bonkers, but brilliant, 1967 M530, which took its name from the company's surface-to-air missile the R530.
