Condition:Used Brand:Chevrolet

One lot of three vintage, working fuel pumps removed from Chevrolet 235 engines (or possibly 216). All three pumps are vintage replacement parts and all three were working when removed and put into storage twenty-five years ago. Two of them have a part number of 4149AX, which corresponds to an Airtex listing for 1952-1957 Chevrolet six cylinder engines, and the other (on the far right in the photos) has no part number but does have "MADE IN USA" cast in the same place as the other two. All three were included in a collection of 1953 and 1954 Chevrolet passenger car parts that I purchased twenty-five years ago. Please research for compatibility before purchasing as there are no returns. Again, all three are in working condition with a firm diaphragm and strong suction when operated by hand.

Mitsubishi GC-PHEV concept stars at the Tokyo Motor Show 2013

Wed, 20 Nov 2013

Mitsubishi has no less than three future-reaching concept cars on display at Tokyo 2013, and this is the biggest of all of them. It’s called the Concept GC-PHEV, and amongst many other things gives us a sneak peak at current thinking for the next-generation Mitsubishi Shogun. However, it also features a 3.0-litre supercharged V6 and a plug-in electric hybrid system, and a cabin with more touchscreens than your local electronics emporium.

EcoBoost four-cylinder Ford Taurus certified at 32 mpg highway

Wed, 27 Jun 2012

For the first time since the 1980s, and let's face it, 1991 was the '80s, Ford will stash a four-cylinder engine in the Taurus sedan. With the four pot underhood, the Taurus will get 32 mpg on the highway. Gas mileage has also improved across the rest of the 2013 Taurus line, with the base car and the SHO model certified at 25 mpg or better on the highway.

VW Taigun: It’s an Up! SUV

Mon, 22 Oct 2012

Volkswagen has revealed the VW Taigun at the Sao Paulo Motor Show in Brazil, a very compact SUV based on the VW Up! The Taigun is 3859mm long and 1728mm wide, making it a chunk smaller than the next VW SUV up (the Tiguan) and smaller even than Nissan’s Juke, but it gets an extra 50mm in the wheelbase compared to the Up so interior room looks decent. Vw say the Taigun is purposely designed to look just like a mini-me Tiguan or Touareg (and sound like one too) with its very similar styling, high ride height, skid plates and roof rails with an interior that offers room for four and enough spce for 280 litre of stuff in the boot (a plentiful 987 litres with the back seats folded).
