Brand:Amsoil Warranty:No Manufacturer Part Number:BE-90 Country/Region of Manufacture:United States Surface Finish:paint

I'm not sure if this part was ever used. It looks very clean and bright with a crisp AMSOIL sticker. It's a vintage AMSOIL BE-90 spin-on in-line oil filter. It's ready to go with mounting bracket, bolts, hoses, and brass fittings. There is a hose clamp missing on one of the ends. The filter is very tight and I could not get it to turn or break loose. So I don't know the condition of the filter. Nice looking part and not all beat up, banged up or abused. Shipping will be $13.45 USPS Priority Mail Medium Flat Rate Box with tracking.

Could Michelin’s Active Wheel truly transform the car?

Tue, 27 Apr 2010

Cars today have evolved and been refined to an extraordinary degree, but carmakers – and car designers – are still always looking for ‘the next big thing'. Yet despite a myriad of recent technical innovations, ask the man on the street what is the problem with cars of today, and he'll likely reply along the lines of "they all look the same". Mass production processes, packaging requirements and safety and regulatory constraints are just a few of the reasons why it is hard to make a car that looks truly different.

smart fortwo gets a facelift for 2012

Wed, 01 Feb 2012

The smart fortwo gets a nip and tuck for 2012 The smart fortwo has been given a small cosmetic facelift for 2012, and will debut at the Geneva Motor Show in March. The perpetual loss-maker for Mercedes that is the smart car (the other being Maybach, which is now being left to wither on the vine) still continues, and Mercedes are planning a replacement, previewed by the recent smart forvision concept which heralds the new smart fortwo which will share its platform with the next Renault Twingo. But to freshen the current smart fortwo until the all new smart fortwo arrives, Mercedes has rolled out a few cosmetic tweaks for the current smart fortwo for 2012, but haven’t bothered to tweak either the chassis or engines.

Is the Jaguar XFR-S on the way?

Thu, 02 Feb 2012

Is the Jaguar XFR-S on the way (2012 XFR pictured) New reports suggest that the Jaguar XFR-S – a more powerful XFR with the output of the XKR-S – is close to production. Last summer we reported that a Jaguar XFR-S was being planned (actually, we also said a Jaguar XJR-S was in the planning too) in order to take the fight back to the Germans, with the latest iterations of the BMW M5 and Mercedes E63 AMG now offering more power than the XFR can muster. The idea of a more powerful XFR wasn’t just wild speculation (or an educated guess as to what Jaguar needed to do to keep in touch with German rivals) but was also based on Adrian Hallmark’s comments that it would be nice to take the power upgrades on the XKR-S and extend them to the XF.
